Physical Wellness Exams

  • General Routine and Problem-Solving Examinations

  • New Puppy & Kitten Exams (evaluate health, intestinal parasite control and establish vaccination protocol)

  • Metabolic Causes (loss of appetite, weight loss, stomach and intestinal problems, vomiting, and diarrhea)

  • Breathing and Respiratory Problems (coughing, wheezing, choking, and decreased activity)

  • Eye Disease (eyelid deformity, eye discharge, redness and squinting, and foreign objects)

  • Ears (scratching, head shaking, odor and ear canal debris – sudden onset or long-term problems)

  • Teeth/Mouth (evaluate gums/gingiva and teeth for any abscess, excessive buildup of plaque/tarter and bad breath, and dental cleaning estimates at time of examination)

  • Skin (evaluate dry skin, loss of hair (alopecia), infection (dermatitis), parasites, and skin lumps, bumps,
    and tumors)

  • Abdomen (evaluate abdominal swelling, presence of fluid, palpate for any abnormal masses) 

  • Lameness/Limping (evaluate all joints for range of motion, pain and swelling to localize source of pain/lameness)

  • Complete Blood Profile Chemistries (evaluate metabolic function)
