Dr. Sept specializes in working with active sports and sled dogs to keep the athletic dogs healthy, prevent injuries, optimize performance and enhance rehabilitation and recovery. 

 

Dr. Sept is experienced working with sporting, agility, sled and sprint sled dog racing breeds. He is familiar with these dog breeds and the types of injuries, illnesses, and environmental exposures that can occur during/after training and competitive events. 

 

Athletic sports dogs can suffer a variety of injuries, including soft tissue injuries (strains, sprains, and muscle, tendon, and ligament tears), bone fractures, dislocated patella, tendonitis, and arthritis.
